Description

Rabbit Skeletal Muscle Cell Media is a specialized, nutrient-optimized formulation designed to support the in vitro expansion, proliferation, and maintenance of primary rabbit skeletal muscle cells (RbSkMC) and related progenitor populations. By providing a balanced biochemical environment, this medium helps promote cell viability and maintain myogenic characteristics prior to downstream differentiation.
The medium is tailored to support precursors derived from skeletal muscle, including satellite cells. In native tissue, these mononucleated progenitor cells reside beneath the basal lamina of mature skeletal muscle fibers. Normally quiescent, they activate in response to physiological or mechanical cues and contribute to muscle growth, repair, and regeneration.
Mature skeletal muscle is organized into bundles of contractile fibers containing aligned filament systems. Through excitation-contraction coupling, these tissues generate force needed for movement of the skeleton.
Expanding primary satellite-cell populations in vitro without premature differentiation can be challenging. Rabbit Skeletal Muscle Cell Media supplies nutritional and biochemical support to help maintain robust proliferation and culture quality over extended passages.
This culture system may be useful for musculoskeletal research, tissue engineering, and cultivated meat studies.
Medium carefully optimized for the characteristics and requirements unique to rabbit muscle cells. Attention to detail ensures ideal cell health, viability, performance, physiology, morphology, consistency and data.

Details
CAI media are tested for sterility in order to confirm no bacteria, yeast or fungi contaminate the solutions. The products undergo further quality control for correct pH, osmolality and lack of endotoxins. A panel of different bioassays affirm the media sustain a proper environment for expected cell-type-specific culture, growth, plating, karyotype, physiology, morphology, viability, population doublings, surface markers, cryopreservation, differentiation and/or induction.
Laboratory research use only (RUO). Not for human, clinical, diagnostic or veterinary use.
