Description
For years, cell biologists have relied on classic growth media, like Dulbecco Modified Eagle's Medium (DMEM), MCDB-105 and RPMI 1640. With scores of publications to their names, these time-proven standbys continue to form a sound foundation for in vitro culture experiments.
Add supplements such as fetal bovine serum, growth factors, trace elements, and /or antibiotics, depending on cell type. The media are buffered and sterile filtered, and tested to stringent quality standards.
